WINNIPEG, MB: Crystal Buhler, FCPA, FCGA, CIRP, LIT, and President of C. Buhler & Associates Ltd., was recently honoured with the prestigious designation of Fellow Chartered Professional Accountant (FCPA) by Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) Manitoba. The title of FCPA is awarded annually to recognize select CPA Manitoba members who have rendered exceptional services and whose achievements have earned them distinction.
Crystal Buhler is a Licensed Insolvency Trustee (LIT), accountant, and educator well known for her dedication to helping individuals and businesses navigate financial challenges. Her professional career has spanned more than two decades and has been defined at every stage by a strong commitment to education, mentorship and lifelong learning, a desire to expand essential financial services and education to rural and remote communities, and a compassionate, judgment-free approach to client care.
Currently, Crystal is the founder and president of C. Buhler & Associates Ltd., a successful insolvency firm with five locations throughout Canada’s prairie provinces and northern territories. She is also a volunteer with CPA Canada’s Financial Literacy Program, and a CPA Manitoba Regional Ambassador. Crystal is active in both the Manitoba and Canadian Associations of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals and is regularly invited to share her expertise as a guest speaker for professional organizations and community groups.
On May 8, 2025, Crystal was honoured with the title of Fellow Chartered Professional Accountant (FCPA) by CPA Manitoba. This award recognizes outstanding members whose achievements in their careers or the community have earned them distinction and brought honour to the profession. It was presented at the CPA Manitoba Member Recognition Gala at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, and the C. Buhler & Associates Ltd. team was there to support Crystal in this milestone achievement.
