Buhler & Associates Ltd. president, Crystal Buhler, FCPA, FCGA, CIRP, LIT, was recently honoured with the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals (CAIRP) Outstanding Volunteer Award (OVA) for 2023-2024.ย The award acknowledges individuals who have provided exemplary service to the Association and is presented once per year at its Annual General Meeting.ย ย
Crystal Buhler received a Diploma in Business Administration from Assiniboine Community College in 2000 and then went on to earn her Bachelor of Accounting Science from the University of Calgary in 2003 and Certified General Accountant (now Chartered Professional Accountant) designation in 2004.ย In 2011, she became a Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional (CIRP) and a Licensed Insolvency Trustee (LIT), after which she worked for both Keith G. Collins Ltd. and MNP before establishing her own firm, C. Buhler & Associates Ltd., in 2019.ย ย
